Mysterious Island Agree to help the shark

You agree to do whatever the shark want if it will just swim you to shore as quickly as possible. You hop onto the sharks back, and it begins to talk while it swims. "You know," the shark says, "I love humans. They are smart, rich, and... tasty. Ever since I ate my first human I have wanted to be able to travel on land so that I could get more. What I want you to do is to develop a way for me to travel on land.

The shark continues to swim, and you see a curving shoreline approaching. There is a white sand beach about 50ft deep ringing a lush tropical forest with a volcano in the middle.
